Here is a recent video that demonstrates the co-op mode of the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War.
The flame thrower seems to be a popular edition to many of the new shooters this year, but no one is going to complain.
Enjoy!

August 14th, 2008 at 9:38 amYeah, this will likely have Legacy. I’d be really surpsied if it doesn’t.
It looks pretty good, I think. Treyarch seems to have come a long way since COD 3… looking at Quantum of Solace and this, they have the potential to have a pretty good year and redeem themselves in the eyes of FPS players.
*Waits for SAKY to bash Treyarch*

August 14th, 2008 at 3:49 pmI’ll go against character and reserve judgment of this Treyarch game until I rent it. I don’t mind the overplayed WWII setting so long as the game is great. Besides, I have every right to question Treyarch’s abilities as the only great game I played from them were Dreamcast ports of the ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’ games.

Tell me if anything in that list strikes you as great. Sure you can try to claim COD3 but 2 & 4 are infanitly better IMHO. Time will tell and Treyarch has said that COD3 was rushed so for now I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and see and wait to see for myself.

I think it’s worth a look from all COD fans and judgment should definitely be reserved until trying the game. No one will discount that the IW games are better, but people who will be skipping this just because it’s by Treyarch might be missing out on a decent game. Mind you, COD6 will be far superior than this game, no matter what Treyarch is able to put together.
