FEAR 2: Project Origin - Southpaw, No Legacy

Much like F.E.A.R. Files, the Xbox 360 demo for the highly-anticipated Project Origin offers Southpaw, but (as usual) Legacy has been omitted. And I can’t see any reason why the options wouldn’t be exactly the same on the PS3 counterpart.
So this is good news for our Southpaw readers, but once again Legacy guys feel the sting. And although it’s likely too late to expect any changes in the retail version (out Feb. 10) since demos normally reflect final controls, now would still be a good time to get in touch with Monolith to plead our case for a Legacy update via the first patch. I already have and will post any information on that should it become available, though I expect to receive the standard “thanks for contacting us, we don’t care will review the issue” sort of response.
On a more positive note, thank you SAKY and Matt for checking out the controls.

January 25th, 2009 at 5:42 amI loved the demo, however I would still love to have customisable buttons. Having to take my thumb off the stick to use slow-mo is quite frustrating. Weapon select would be better mapped to (Y), slow-mo to (LB), crouch to left stick and melee to right stick.
Also, the outline around the edge of the screen is very distracting.
