Gears of War 2 Footage!

Yes, I stayed in on a Friday night to make sure I didn’t miss the world premiere of this video on GameTrailers TV that shows off some of the Gears of War 2 campaign. Here it is, and it looks amazing:

After being disappointed by the Haze demo omitting Legacy, this footage has lifted my gaming spirit. Gears of War 2 is currently scheduled to be released in November of 2008 and I personally cannot wait.

So, what did you think of the video and are you as excited about this game as I am?

    Gears of War is still my favorite game on the 360 without a doubt so I have this crazy thought that no one is as excited about this game as I’m. I just hope that Epic Games makes the left stick available for legacy players during roadie runs because it makes no sense that it did NOTHING in the first game. Also, from this new video it looks like the gameplay changes are much more dramatic than, say, R6V to R6V2, and the changes among the Halo games as well.

    I agree, it looks like Epic has added a lot of new elements.

    And what’s great is that only a few minutes of game play was shown in the video. There are probably a ton of new features waiting in Gears 2 for us, as a true sequel should offer.
