Enough said. Everyone go riot in the streets. I’ll buy you a modded controller when you get out of prison IF you make the news. Thanks to Brian and Mike at Kotaku.com for getting this answered before release.

April 27th, 2008 at 8:02 pmI found a button on rockstar.com labled “mouthoff” in the bottom right corener of the homepage. It sets up to send an E-mail but Iget the feeling that the submit button doesn’t work. If it’s not just me then I suggest going through Taketwo as Rockstar seems to have no communication channel with it’s community.

April 28th, 2008 at 12:41 amAs a Legacy player, I’ve never had any issues with GTA or 3rd person games like Crackdown or Splinter Cell. I do wonder if the new cover system will cause me problems though?

April 28th, 2008 at 8:03 amHopefully with the auto aim/lock on system I should be able to manage.

April 28th, 2008 at 8:12 amRemember it has auto aim where it moves the reticule instantly to the nearest target so it may not be as bad as you think.

After playing the PC version of GTA3/Vice City/San Andreas I came to two conclusions.
1)nothing is worse than using auto aim on the consoles.
2)nothing is worse than trying to drive with a keyboard or a mouse. -

Consider that some of us cannot properly aim using the right analogue stick, so autoaim is a very good feature for us.

That’s true. It’s good that you’ll be just fine with the setup and I’m glad that some gamers will be.
But this is exactly why alternate controls are needed because you don’t want the controls how SAKY does, and he doesn’t want it how you like it. That’s why we ALL need to be given a number of options.

April 28th, 2008 at 9:49 amYes, that is very true. I find it very stupid that game developers do this.

I can’t aim properly with the right analog
I’m a southpaw player. My problem with auto aim is that when things in the game get hectic the autoaim isn’t always going to point to the target you want. I have already read reviews that this situation hasn’t been improved, but I’ll save judgement until I play the game tonight. -

May 6th, 2008 at 3:57 amProblem one with auto-aim there no contest with average non-auto aim player. They can easily hit you from far then we can with auto-aim. Second in most ranked game people don’T use auto-aim and they dont want to. I hate never be able to compete.
