Legacy in Wolfenstein? Nein

Ok, that will be the last “nein” joke for a while…

Anyway, Raven Software’s Wolfenstein offers Southpaw, but Legacy players are not as fortunate. In addition to Southpaw, look inversion is available, along with five button layouts.

To be frank, I’m surprised about the Legacy omission since Raven’s Quake 4 offered all four stick layouts. Based on this, it’s a fairly safe guess that Singularity, another Raven Software title in the works, will ship with the same stick configurations as Wolfenstein.

As always, Legacy players are encouraged to contact the developer or post on the game’s official forums to express concerns. You never know what may come of it.

I have to agree here. The many ways to customize the controls in Wolfenstein are all fine and well, but the lack of the Legacy setting, where you can have one stick to move all over, causes me to misfire, run into things, and die more often than I like. I just find the offered settings clumsy and awkward, and I am not enjoying this $60 game near as much as I had hoped to. i feel robbed.
