Poll Results: Do you use inverted aiming?

So it seems as though a slim majority of you folks (55.07%) prefer to use inverted aiming, while 43.48% don’t. And 1.45% of you weren’t sure what the heck I was talking about. Guess I’ll be nice and briefly explain: Think of inverted aiming as being very similar to flight controls - you pull the analog stick back to look up, and push it forward to look down. Much like Legacy controls, I became accustomed to inverted aiming thanks to GoldenEye 007.

February 10th, 2009 at 10:55 amGoldenEye was pretty influential for my gaming tastes - not only did it ingrain my control & aiming styles, but it also got me into shooters. Prior to GoldenEye, I was mainly in to fighting games and platformers - all that changed after GoldenEye.

February 10th, 2009 at 9:19 pmYep Goldeneye 64 got me into inverted aiming and southpaw controls (despite the fact that I’m right handed). Now I can’t play any console game that does not have these options. Thanks for this site, you guys have filled a need.
