First off, a (belated) Happy New Year to you all.
Getting down to business, Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter has landed on Xbox Live Arcade.
As a great way to kick off our coverage in 2010, I’m pleased to report that this game offers Southpaw, Legacy, and Legacy-southpaw. There are also four button layouts; two of which cater to lefties who prefer to have their triggers swapped.
While this is great news for many, there is still room for improvement as the buttons cannot be mapped and inverting the X-axis isn’t possible.
Those points aside, the inclusion of the four standard stick layouts is a pleasant surprise as I was expecting this game to offer the same options as CoD: Classic (Southpaw, no Legacy).
