This sandbox game from Pandemic does not support Southpaw or Legacy and only offers the ability to invert the Y axis. You’ll have to make do with the default button layouts for navigating, shooting, driving and brawling as well since these aren’t configurable.
When unarmed, movement controls are similar to RE5’s “Type A” scheme in that the left analog stick is used for moving forward and turning left/right, while the camera is controlled with the right stick.
This may not be an issue for some, though problems will arise once a weapon is equipped. In this case, the controls are reminiscent of the default FPS layout: The left stick is used for strafing and the crosshair is moved with the right. It’s here in particular where Southpaw and Legacy options will be missed.

On a positive note, I am getting a special modified XB360 for christmas. my wife is buying me a controller which has the left/right thumsticks swapped permanently to southpaw configuration and the xbxy button remapped to the bottom of the controller. I haven’t received it yet, so I am not sure how well it works. will update after the holidays.
not sure of the cost, but I am sure it was expensice$$$. probably around $150.
